In response to requests received to amend AOM 006 MET – Complex, which is also part of the Senior Panel Accreditation route, some elements of the assessment have now been updated.
The IMI offer IMI Accredited Assessor Awards at Fanshaws. If you are interested in becoming an IMI Assessor please contact the IMI.
The IMI is responsible for running Assessor Awards. These are assessments for candidates wishing to become accredited assessors for specific IMI routes.
The IMI routes available for Assessor Awards include:
Accredited IMI Assessors are able to provide assessment on candidates taking an IMI assessment in their nominated route. Assessment can take place at an approved IMI centre or at employer / vehicle manufacturer premises as part of an approved internal training programme.
The one day assessment to become an IMI Assessor requires a candidate to undertake some pre-reading preparation work and attend a full day at the IMI Assessment Centre where they will cover assessment briefings, centre set up, practical and theory assessments and candidate feedback.
